While at IPG Media Lab, Brian created the framework for a new kind of out-of-home experience for the motion picture industry—an interactive movie poster activated by NFC-enabled mobile devices. The smart poster triggered sweepstakes entries, exclusive offers, gaming rewards, and social interactions—blurring the line between content and commerce.
Users could earn rewards ranging from free popcorn to red-carpet access. Designed to feel seamless and cinematic, the poster responded to a user's presence and engaged their mobile device with personalized content. Brian aimed to hide the tech and make the experience feel like magic.
